I’m Laura, and I’ve been working in podcasting for years.

My experience began with producing my own shows and figuring out what was needed along the way. Eventually, that passion became my profession. Over the years, I’ve worked across many areas of podcasting, from developing business models and growing audiences to building teams and producing episodes.

I’ve been lucky to collaborate on local shows, national chart-toppers, and acclaimed regional audio journalism productions like Radio Ambulante and El hilo. In 2022, I took a leap and moved to New York City to attend the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, where I studied journalism in both English and Spanish. Now, I’m better equipped to cover Latin American communities in the U.S. across multiple formats!

In addition, I enjoy teaching and public speaking. On Sundays, I run in Prospect Park.
